Hysteria is a romantic period piece set in London in the late 19th century and is based on the surprising truth of how Mortimer Granville (Dancy) came up with the world’s first electromechanical vibrator in the name of medical science.

The movie also features Jonathan Pryce and Felicity Jones and had its US premiere earlier this week at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.
