Channing Tatum: 'Magic Mike' Is An Independent Movie

The 32-year-old actor (in Joe’s jeans) and Matthew, 42, debuted an exclusive clip and answered questions about their stripper flick as part of MTV’s “Sneak Peek Week”.

Channing revealed that Magic Mike was brought to life without studio funding.

“We put money into it and did it ourselves,” Channing expressed. “I don’t know if people realize it, but it was an independent movie.”
