Alanis Morissette: Album Listening Party!

Alanis Morissette performs a song during her Havoc and Bright Lights album listening party held at Sonos Studio on Monday (August 20) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old singer previewed the new album and also performed three songs, including her new single “Guardian,” at the Target-hosted party. The guest list included VIPs such as Miranda Cosgrove and Kat Deluna.

“The set list runs the gamut of every emotion that I have put on tape and songs from the last 17 years. We’re having a lot of fun, so far we just toured Europe and my husband Souleye and my son Ever and all of us travel together in this beautiful blend of the personal and the vocational,” Alanis said about her upcoming tour. “Blending together in a way that I’ve always dreamed of, because I used to go on tour and then I’d come home and I’d pick up the pieces of my fledgling personal life. So now it’s all happening at the same time which is ideal.”

FYI: Target will have an exclusive version of the album with bonus tracks due August 28th.
