Ryan Lochte Talks Meeting Prince Harry in Vegas on 'Today'

Ryan Lochte arrives at Rockefeller Plaza for his Today show interview on Thursday morning (August 23) in New York City.

Later in the day, the 28-year-old Olympian made an appearance on Access Hollywood with actress Bernadette Peters, who brought along a rescue dog!

“His people came over to my table and said, ‘Prince Harry wants to meet you,’” Ryan said on Today about the infamous Prince Harry partying in Vegas scandal. “I was like, ‘Lets meet him.’ I went over there. I was fully clothed, and he says, ‘You want to race me in the pool?’ I took off my shirt, jumped in and we started racing.”

“After our race and everything, we went our separate ways. I’m kind of happy. I don’t need that,” Ryan added. “After racing Prince Harry, I got that competitive edge back in me and I want to get back in the water.”
