The 43-year-old No Doubt singer-songwriter rocked some fierce black leather shoes as she clutched her Starbucks thermos into the studio.

Gwen, who celebrated her birthday this week, has been working hard with her band on their recent comeback album after a 11-year hiatus.

It was recently announced that No Doubt will be performing in this year’s MTV EMA 2012 airing November 11 in Frankfurt, Germany. The band will be joined by Taylor Swift and Muse at the awards show.
