Thandie Newton: One Billion Rising Photo Call

Thandie Newton lends her support at the photo call for One Billion Rising held at ICA on Tuesday (February 5) in London, England.

The 40-year-old actress is a supporter of the One Billion Rising movement, which is a campaign to end violence, and a call for justice and gender equality for women.

The evening before, Thandie attended the London Rising event, a charity fundraiser for the campaign.

The movement was spearheaded by playwright Eve Ensler and the V-DAY campaign.
