Benedict Cumberbatch Arrives in Japan After Wrapping 'Hobbit'

Benedict Cumberbatch is greeted by throngs of fans while arriving at Narita Airport on Monday (July 15) in Narita, Japan.

The 36-year-old actor is in town to promote his latest film Star Trek Into Darkness and his arrival at the airport was even streamed live online!

Benedict recently wrapped up work on The Hobbit trilogy, in which he stars as Smaug alongside his Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman.

“Smaug admires Bilbo’s feet,” director Peter Jackson wrote on Facebook along with a photo of the duo taken before filming wrapped.
