Nicole Richie on Parenting: 'Kids Want to Be Told the Truth'

In a recent interview for Oprah: Where Are They Now?, the 32-year-old fashion designer talked about her parenting style.

“There’s always room for improvement,” Nicole said (via Huffington Post). “I do know that I do the best I can.”

“I have to always come from a place of love and compassion with them,” Nicole added. “My kids operate best when I let them have a voice and I really explain things to them. Because, really, kids want to be told the truth. They just want you to be truthful.”
