Seth Meyers' Emmys 2014 Opening Monologue - WATCH NOW!
Seth Meyers makes us laugh over and over again during his hilarious opening monologue to start the show at the 2014 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles.
The 40-year-old comedian hosted the awards show and talked about the state of television during his monologue. We loved all of the jokes!
“Welcome to the Emmy Awards. This year we’re doing it on a Monday in August which I understand in television means the Emmys are about to get canceled,” Seth said to start it all off. “We’re doing it on a Monday in part because MTV aired the Video Music Awards. Yes, MTV still has an award for music videos. That’s like networks holding an awards show and giving all the trophies to cable and Netflix. That would be crazy! Why would they do that?!”
