Kristin Chenoweth Preps for 'I Am Harvey Milk' Concert (Video)
Kristin Chenoweth poses for a photo with her co-stars during a recent rehearsal for the upcoming one-night-only benefit concert of I Am Harvey Milk.
The Emmy and Tony-winning actress will be starring alongside composer Andrew Lippa and young actor Noah Marlowe in the original musical about Harvey Milk‘s life – from boyhood to his rise as the first openly gay man to hold public office in California to his assassination.
“I view my role as one of many,” Kristin told NY1 in the below video. “The spirit and the feminine side to Harvey, his mother, the people who told him no like Anita Bryant, an angel. I kind of feel a soprano embodies all of that.”
There are still tickets available to the concert, taking place on Monday, October 6 in New York City. Get yours now!
