Matt Damon & Mindy Kaling Keep Close While Filming Funny Super Bowl Commercial

Mindy Kaling goes in for an awkward hug with Matt Damon while on set of their upcoming 2015 Super Bowl commercial on Saturday afternoon (October 18) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old actress and 44-year-old actor were also spotted hailing a cab and walking around the streets. We can’t wait to see the finished product!

In case you didn’t know, Mindy played Matt‘s BFF Ben Affleck in her 2002 award-winning play Matt & Ben, while her pal Brenda Withers played Matt.

Matt & Ben was a satire on the pre-paparazzi, pre-fame friendship between Oscar-winning screenwriters and best friends, as the screenplay for Good Will Hunting drops mysteriously from the heavens.
