Vanessa Hudgens: 'There Is No Second Take' On Broadway

Vanessa Hudgens keeps her scarf over her face to battle the gusty winds in New York City on Saturday afternoon (April 4).

The 26-year-old actress headed to the Neil Simon Theater ahead of tonight’s performance of Gigi.

“Just the amount of work it takes: on your voice, on you physically, on you mentally. It’s just a lot of work, a lot of time staying completely engaged, totally focused, being as present as possible, and working really hard so that you can portray a character to an audience and be able to tell this story as clearly as you can,” Vanessa recently told EW about any criticism she’s received from Broadway stars.

She continued, “It’s so much fun, but I’m used to having a second take. In theater and on Broadway, there is no second take.”
