Jennifer Hudson Shows Off Newly Shaved Head at Charity Event

Jennifer Hudson poses with her sister Julia while attending the 2015 Hatch Day Celebration on behalf of their Julian D. King Gift Foundation held at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center on Friday (August 14) in Chicago.

The 33-year-old singer, who showed off her newly-shaved head, helps hold the annual celebration, which is in honor of Julia‘s late son Julian.

“It is so important for the children of our community to know we are here to help any way we can,” Jennifer said in a statement. “That can make all the difference. We know that by providing these essentials, we’re helping to prepare the next generation of Chicago to grow in a more positive environment and work toward a more exciting future.”
