Rooney Mara Fights For Justice In 'Trash' Trailer

Rooney Mara keeps her shades on as she exits LAX airport after a flight on Monday (August 31) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actress is set to star in the upcoming film Trash, directed by Stephen Daldry. You can watch the new trailer below!

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Andy Mulligan, the film follows the adventure of three poverty-stricken boys in Rio who discover a valuable wallet during their daily scavenging of the city’s landfill. There’s more than just cash in that wallet and corrupt local authorities are willing to do everything in their power to recover it. Pursued by men with guns, the boys eventually turn to an American priest and his assistant as they try to survive and do the right thing.

Trash is set to hit theaters October 9th.
