Ellen Page Takes Girlfriend Samantha Thomas To 'Freeheld' Premiere

Ellen Page is joined by her girlfriend Samantha Thomas as she walks the carpet for the premiere of her upcoming film Freeheld at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday night (September 28) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actress was also accompanied by her Freeheld co-stars Julianne Moore and Michael Shannon.

“Basically, it’s a film about someone just saying no to you because you’re gay. Saying no to someone who’d spent her entire life protecting the citizens of New Jersey,” Ellen recently said of the movie to the New York Daily News.

“Obviously as an out gay woman I connected to the material,” she added.
