Mariah Carey Is Dethroned on Most Played Christmas Song List

Mariah Carey surprisingly does not have the most played Christmas song heard by holiday shoppers this year!

PlayNetwork – which curates the music and entertainment media for more than 400 brands including Converse, Forever 21, Vans, Levi’s, Marc Jacobs and Urban Outfitters – has compiled a list of the top 20 songs being played this holiday season.

The list of the most played songs was created by analyzing the data from retail partners. This music is heard by more than 100 million people each day at more than 100,000 locations in 100 countries.

Mariah‘s song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has reportedly been the most played Christmas song for the past 20 years, but this year something else has topped the list.
