Kate Middleton Gave a Rare Public Curtsy to Queen Elizabeth
Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William attend a service at Sandringham to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the final withdrawal from the Gallipoli Peninsula on Sunday (January 10) in King’s Lynn, England.
The 34-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was seen giving a rare public curtsy to Queen Elizabeth at the event and the action has been explained to People.
“It is rare, but it indicates that this was the first time that the Duchess saw the Queen,” the editor of Majesty magazine said. “It would normally happen in private. Although they came from Sandringham House, they obviously hadn’t seen each other before Kate and the Middletons and their friends set out on foot.”
“It’s unusual to see it in public but not unique. That would have been the first communication between them on that day,” he added.

FYI: Kate is wearing Aquatalia boots.
