Carol Burnett Wears Her Slippers to SAG Awards 2016!

Carol Burnett shows off her slippers on the red carpet at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 30) in Los Angeles.

While the 82-year-old actress arrived in the UGG slippers, she eventually changed into some more fashionable shoes to go along with her outfit.

Carol is receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award this evening and it will be presented by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

When asked by THR whether there’s another actress like her on the comedy landscape today, Carol said, “I do think there are some great female comics: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph. They’re the whole ball of wax. But I don’t think they could do what we did because we did a musical-comedy extravaganza every week with a 28-piece orchestra, 12 dancers and two guest stars a week, plus we had a studio audience. We’d do it in one hour and 15 minutes, and we’d be out in time to go have dinner. Also, the cost: You couldn’t do what we did today because the cost would be astronomical.”
