LeAnn Rimes Shares Thoughts on Extending Love to 'Those Who Have Wronged Us'

LeAnn Rimes has her hands full of grocery bags while leaving a store on Sunday (February 21) in Calabasas, Calif.

The next day, the 33-year-old singer posted a proverb which read, “Love, like rain, doesn’t choose the grass on which it falls.”

“This moves me beyond measure. It is our choice who we love but not who we extend love to. As a human being this concept is so beyond what we are capable of, but it is something I strive for more and more with every passing day. Extending love to those who have wronged us, those who do not show us the same in return is a true test. Somedays I pass it, others I don’t. We have all had and will have moments where we aren’t the easiest to love, but in those moments we need it the most. Extend love, even the tiniest bit in the toughest of situations will lighten the darkness,” LeAnn captioned the photo on Instagram.
