Kate McKinnon has a breakdown over a cake with Kumail Nanjiani in a spoof that aired at the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 27) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 32-year-old comedian and her 38-year-old co-host parodied the event’s Best First Screenplay and Best Female Lead winner Room in the hilarious clip.

Kate played the role of Brie Larson’s character and Kumail took over for Jacob Tremblay as they got trapped in their green room for seven years ahead of the awards event.
