Dionne Warwick Says Lady Gaga Will Be in Her Biopic, Despite Rep's Statement

Dionne Warwick is continuing to claim that Lady Gaga will be in her biopic, despite Gaga‘s rep saying she is not attached to the project.

During the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the 75-year-old entertainer announced Gaga‘s involvement in the film but her reps denied these claims. Dionne is now fighting back.

“Actually, it’s just a little glitch. It will be corrected very soon, and everybody who retracted will have to retract again,” Dionne told Variety.

Dionne continued, “It wasn’t her that issued the statement. It was her PR people. It’s like everything else. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. It becomes a problem. When they start talking to each other, it’s going to make a difference.”

Although Dionne said she hasn’t spoken to Gaga directly about the role, she has been in touch with her manager, saying “We finally have gotten texts and everything from everybody saying we’ll get it straightened out.”
