Adele Cancels Phoenix Concert After Falling Ill (Video)

Adele has canceled her show on Wednesday night (August 17) at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram to break the news to fans that she’s suffering from a nasty cold.

“I’ve had a cold for a couple days, and I’ve been pushing through it. I did my show last night, and I loved it, but I pushed too hard, and my cold has gotten the better of me,” Adele said. “I’ve enjoyed my tour so much, and canceling show has not been something I want to do. I’ve pushed through a lot of things, but I’ve been trying to sing all morning and warming up, and nothing’s really happening.”

She added, “It’s the last thing I want to do, but I have to look after for myself, because I got so many more shows to do…I will reschedule this show, I promise you, and I come back, and I will smash it for you.”
