Michael Phelps Brings Fiancee Nicole Johnson to VMAs 2016

Michael Phelps sports some facial scruff while stepping out for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (August 28) in New York City.

The 31-year-old Olympic swimmer was joined on the carpet by his lovely fiancee Nicole Johnson.

In case you didn’t know, Michael won his 23rd gold medal during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics before retiring from the sport for good.

“Gotta love when you play rummy and you go against the one person you’re not upset if you lose 2!🙈 #bestfriendforlife,” he captioned a recent Instagram photo of Nicole.
