Rihanna Gets Ready For Her Global Citizen Festival Performance

Rihanna`gets into her performance while rehearsing on stage for the Global Citizen Festival on Friday (September 23) at Central Park in New York City.

The 28-year-old entertainer is joining a lineup that includes Demi Lovato, Kendrick Lamar and Major Lazer.

Earlier in the day, Rihanna announced that she is set to become the new global ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education.

In her role, she will “encourage world leaders and policymakers to boost their support for global education and education in emergencies.”
