VIDEO: Tom Hanks Inspired Ryan Reynolds' Daughter James' First Full Sentence!

Tom Hanks got a big surprise during Ryan Reynolds‘ 22nd Critics Choice Awards acceptance speech!

During the show on Sunday (December 11) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif, Ryan told Tom that his daughter James‘ first full length sentence that she spoke was from his famous 1992 movie A League of Their Own.

“I genuinely was not expecting this, I prepared nothing. So, I’m just going to focus on Tom Hanks,” Ryan said. “No really though, you’re a huge influence on me. My 2-year-old daughter – the first full sentence she ever said was, ‘There’s no crying in baseball.’ I’m not even kidding.”
