VIDEO: Protests Break Out in Washington DC on Inauguration Day
The protests are starting to get violent in Washington, DC after Donald Trump was named President.
According to Interim Police Chief Peter Newsham, 90 people were arrested. He also added, “it’s a very, very small percentage of the number of folks that came here to peacefully assemble in our city.”
Police said the small group of people “damaged vehicles, destroyed the property of multiple businesses, and ignited smaller isolated fires,” ABC News reports.
Police used pepper spray and other means (reports of pressure grenades and tear gas comes from Fox News).
Please note that many are peacefully protesting.
