Billie Lourd Pays Tribute to Mom Carrie Fisher on 'Star Wars' Day

Billie Lourd is honoring her late mother, Carrie Fisher, in a super sweet way in celebration of Star Wars Day.

The 24-year-old Scream Queens actress took to Instagram on Thursday (May 4) to share a throwback pic featuring herself as a child in the arms of her mom, who famously portrayed Princess Leia in the films.

Walking behind them in the photo is Carrie‘s on-screen friend Chewbacca.

Carrie sadly passed away this past December at age 60 during a Los Angeles-bound flight.
