10 Celeb Moms Who Welcomed Their First Child in 2017!

We’d like to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there.

We’d also like to wish a very happy FIRST Mother’s Day to 10 stars who just joined the new mom club this year!

Celebs like Amanda Seyfried, Janet Jackson, and Camilla Luddington are some the newest members.

We absolutely loved getting to meet these stars’ new additions, and no matter what the first-time moms have planned today, we hope they’re getting pampered and spending lots of cuddle time with their new babes.

Amanda Seyfried

Amanda and her husband Thomas Sadoski welcomed a baby girl in March, just a week after they announced their secret wedding ceremony.

“I’ve never been excited by anything more in my life – and ready,” the 31-year-old Mean Girls actress told Vogue Australia about becoming a mom.

Sutton Foster

Sutton Foster and her husband Ted Griffin adopted a baby girl in March.

“They are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their daughter Emily Dale Griffin,” a rep for the couple told People. The 42-year-old Younger star added, “Our lives are forever changed, and our hearts are exploding.”

Lily Rabe

Lily Rabe and her partner, actor Hamish Linklater, also welcomed a baby girl in March.

The 34-year-old American Horror Story actress confirmed that she gave birth in an Instagram post, which she shared before International Women’s Day.

“Happy International Women’s Day. Today. Tomorrow. Every day. Girls are magic. ❤✨❤✨ #internationalwomensday #weshouldallbefeminists #thefutureisFEMALE,” Lily captioned her daughter’s debut photo.

Janet Jackson

At age 50, Janet became a mom for the first time, to baby boy Eissa Al Mana in January.

“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” her rep said in a statement (via People). “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

Three months after Eissa‘s birth, Janet and Wissam called it quits.

Hoda Kotb

Today show anchor Hoda Kotb, 52, announced some very exciting news on the air in February – she adopted a newborn baby girl named Haley Joy Kotb!

“She’s a Valentine’s baby,” Hoda told the studio during a live call from her home. “She is the love of my life.”

Amber Tamblyn

Amber Tamblyn and David Cross welcomed a new baby girl back in February.

The 33-year-old Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress announced the birth via her Instagram account.

“David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr. #TheFutureIsFemale,” she said in the video.

Note: The baby’s name is really Marlow Alice Cross!

Laura Benanti

Supergirl‘s Laura Benanti became a first-time mom on Valentine’s Day this year!

The 37-year-old Tony-winning actress and her husband Patrick Brown welcomed baby girl Ella Rose.

“Laura gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl at 3:33pm eastern this afternoon,” her rep told JustJared.com in a statement.

Camilla Luddington

Camilla announced in April that she gave birth to a daughter, her first child with 13 Reasons Why actor Matthew Alan!

The 33-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress posted the news on Instagram, along with revealing that they named the baby girl Hayden.

Camilla also shared Hayden‘s first images via a sweet video of the new family.

Peta Murgatroyd

Dancing with the Stars couple Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy became parents back in January.

They welcomed a baby boy in New York City, announcing his birth via Twitter.

“Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy,” Maksim tweeted, along with the date and time of their son’s birth.

Keshia Knight Pulliam

The Cosby Show‘s Keshia Knight Pulliam welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Ella Grace, in January.

The 38-year-old actress’s estranged husband (and presumed father) Ed Hartwell filed for divorce and demanded a paternity test one week after she revealed the pregnancy news.

Keshia announced her baby’s arrival by sharing a photo of herself holding the little girl and showing off her tiny feet. “Ella Grace has arrived!!! �”�: @mrpulliam,” Keshia captioned the Instagram photo.
