Helen Hunt & Matthew Carnahan Split After 16 Years

Helen Hunt and her partner Matthew Carnahan have split up after sixteen years together.

“She has been split up with Matthew for several months. They had a rocky relationship and many offs and ons over the years. They stayed together as long as they did because of their daughter,” a source told E! News of the 54-year-old actress and 56-year-old writer-producer. “They’ve split up before, but this time seems to be different.”

The couple has one daughter together, 13-year-old Makena Lei. No official announcement has been made at this time.
