Get to Know Skott with Her 'Stay Off My Mind' EP & These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)
Skott surprised fans with the release of her brand new four-track EP titled Stay Off My Mind earlier this month, so we recently caught up with the talented rising star to learn more about her!
Produced by Skott‘s long-term collaborators in Stockholm, Agrin Rhamani, Theo Carlson and Christian Nilsson and mixed by Anders Hvenare (Miike Snow, Niki & The Dove, Tove Styrke), the EP showcases a playful new direction and acts as a very welcome return from this innovative young Swedish musician.
In celebration of the release, Skott shared 10 Fun Facts that you probably don’t know about her. Check them out:
- 1. “Skott” means “gunshot” in Swedish, it’s my last name without the accent on the “o”.
- 2. I played the violin at the age of 4.
- 3. My dad’s a brewmaster and he turned the potato cellar in our house into a tiny pub.
- 4. I’ve logged over 213 hours playing Don’t Starve Together on Steam.
- 5. When I was a teen used to make soundtracks to video games using a program called Modplug Tracker.
