Omarosa Manigault Says Country Won't be 'Okay' with Trump as President, White House Responds

Omarosa Manigault is continuing to open up about her time at the White House.

During Thursday night’s (February 8) episode of Celebrity Big Brother, the 44-year-old former White House staffer opened up to fellow contestant Ross Mathews about working under President Donald Trump – and she did not hold back.

“I felt like it was a call to duty, I felt like I was serving my country by serving him,” Omarosa told Ross about taking the job. “It was always about the country. Like, I was haunted by tweets every single day. What is he gonna tweet next?”

“Does anybody say to him, ‘What are you doing?’” Ross asked.

“I mean, I tried to be that person, and then all of the people around him attacked me,” an emotional Omarosa said before breaking down in tears.

“Should we be worried?” Ross asked, begging her to tell him everything will “be okay” because that’s what the America wants to hear.

“No, it’s not gonna be okay,” Omarosa said.

After the episode aired, White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah addressed Omarosa‘s comments before making it very clear that she was fired from her position.

“Omarosa was fired three times on the Apprentice and this was the fourth time we let her go,” Shah said during a press briefing. “She had limited contact with the president while here. She has no contact now.”
