Star Wars' Kelly Marie Tran Deletes Instagram Posts, Fans Speculate the Upsetting Reason Why

Kelly Marie Tran, one of the stars of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has deleted all of her Instagram posts and fans are now speculating the reason why.

The popular Twitter account, Star Wars Facts, sent out a tweet, saying, “Kelly Marie Tran has deleted all the posts off her Instagram due to months of harassment she has received for her character Rose in #TheLastJedi.”

Kelly has not made a public comment or confirmed the reason why. Kelly has faced harassment including the Rose Tico Wookieepedia page being altered to include derogatory and racist language, alt-right personality Paul Ray Ramsey taking aim at her appearance publicly, and more.

Kelly isn’t the only woman in the Star Wars universe who deleted her social media. Daisy Ridley (aka Rey) also left the platform.
