Tamera Mowry-Housley Posts Touching Tribute to Niece After Her Death in Thousand Oaks Shooting: 'My Heart Breaks'

Tamera Mowry-Housley is mourning the death of her niece Alaina after she was tragically killed in the Thousand Oaks shooting.

The 40-year-old The Real co-host took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to her niece.

“Alaina. My sweet, sweet Alaina. My heart breaks. I’m still in disbelief. It’s not fair how you were taken and how soon you were taken from us,” Tamera wrote along with a couple portraits of Alaina.

12 people were killed at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where people were line dancing to country music during a weekly college dance party. Tamera and husband Adam Housley confirmed a few hours ago that Alaina was one of the victims.

“I was blessed to know you ever since you were 5. You stole my heart. I will miss our inside jokes, us serenading at the piano,” Tamera continued. “Thank you for being patient with me learning how to braid your hair, and I will never forget our duet singing the national anthem at Napa’s soccer game. I love you. I love you. I love you. You are gonna make one gorgeous angel. My heart and prayers are with every victim of this tragedy.”
