Michelle Obama Explains Why She Shies Away from Politics During Boston Visit!

Michelle Obama keeps it chic and sophisticated while sitting down to discuss her new book “Becoming” with moderator Michelle Norris in front of a sold out audience of more than 20,000 people at TD Garden on Saturday (November 24) in Boston, Mass.

The 45-year-old former First Lady and author opened up the current state of America and explains why she sometimes shies away from politics.

“One of the reasons I shy away from politics is because me running for politics is feeding into people’s notion that there is a ‘one,’” Michelle told the audience. “And part of a problem is that there isn’t. That’s a false notion.”

“We have to fear each other less and find ways to open up ourselves to each other so that we break down that false stuff that is dangerous for us to believe in,” Michelle added. “America is a good country. It’s a good place with good people. And you all know it.”
