Dax Shepard Responds to Claims He Had an Affair with Julie Andrews' Granddaughter

Dax Shepard is speaking out in response to a tabloid story that implies he had an affair with Julie Andrews‘ granddaughter while in a relationship with future wife Kristen Bell.

Kayti Edwards spoke to the Daily Mail in a new interview and claimed that she spent a “passionate” night with Dax in 2009.

Kayti shared photos of her and Dax kissing in a photo booth and said, “We grabbed the photos and he handed ‘em to me and said, ‘I can’t take these home, you better hang on to them.’ Because…apparently he had a girlfriend. And it wasn’t until later that I realized who his girlfriend was.”

Dax is now setting the record straight about the story, saying that the pics were really from 2005 and that Kayti is known for selling stories to tabloids about several celebs.

“Hey Daily Mail, that photo is 13 years old, not 9. Also, Kayti has sold stories to tabloids about Matthew Perry, Jack Osbourne, Kid Rock, and now me. I look forward to her next one. Fingers crossed it’s about my #1, Brad Pitt :)” he wrote.
