Dax Shepard is putting his muscles on display!

The 48-year-old CHiPs actor and Armchair Expert podcast stepped out to run a few errands on Tuesday afternoon (April 18) in Los Angeles.

For his outing, Dax showed off his tattooed muscles in a black tank shirt paired with faded black jeans, a black trucker hat, and sunglasses.

In a recent interview, Dax‘s wife Kristen Bell opened up about how the two of them talk to their daughters about his battle with drug and alcohol addiction as well as other tough topics.

Over the summer, Dax and Kristen, 42, celebrated a major milestone in their daughters’ lives.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are getting in a workout after the holidays!

The longtime couple was spotted in their workout gear while heading out for a hike in the Los Feliz mountains on Tuesday morning (December 27) in Los Angeles.

Dax, 47, wore a yellow “Detroit for Coneys” tank top and camouflage shorts while Kristen, 42, wore a matching tank top and leggings.

Earlier this month, Dax roasted a tabloid who referred to him and two other hot stars as “Hollywood’s Most Henpecked Husbands.”

Dax and Kristen frequently speak about their relationship and their family. In October, they revealed that they initially only wanted one child but changed their mind. They’ve also spoken extensively about their daughters’ sleeping arrangements.

Dax Shepard put a tabloid on blast after it referred to him, Ben Affleck and Keith Urban as “Hollywood’s most henpecked husbands” on its front cover.

The 47-year-old Armchair Expert podcast host shared a photo of Star Magazine‘s cover on social media.

It claimed that Kristen Bell “banned” him from seeing friends, Jennifer Lopez treated Ben “like an assistant” and Nicole Kidman demanded Keith call home by a certain hour.

Dax Shepard is opening up about his family with wife Kristen Bell.

The 47-year-old actor is a proud dad to two girls – Lincoln, 9, and Delta, 7 – but initially, he only wanted to have one child.

In a new interview, Dax shared the two reasons why he and the 42-year-old actress decided to have a second child.

“We did not want a second child,” Dax admitted on The Endless Honeymoon podcast, noting that having one kid is “so much easier.”

“One [reason why] is, we travel a lot. It’s not fair to bring this little human everywhere we go and deal with only adults,” Dax continued, noting his and Kristen‘s busy work schedules.

“We owe it to her to give her a playmate that travels,” Dax explained. “We love her enough to do something we don’t really want to do, which is have a second, because we were so absolutely happy with just the one.”

As for the second reason why they decided to have a second child, Dax said he didn’t want his eldest daughter to grow up spoiled as an only child.

“So minimally to make this spoiled b—h, my first born, live in the same room as another person and have to share everything,” Dax explained. “I needed a force of compromise and sharing and discomfort because I wasn’t going to give it to her in the other ways. We just thought it would be really helpful to make her a better person to have to deal with someone else.”

Dax went on joke about how his daughters have learned to gang up on him.

“I will say the corner we’ve turned is now they party. Not only do they party together, they’re united against us, which I love,” Dax shared. “If I’m giving it to one of the girls, the other one comes over, ‘You’re not being nice to Lincoln! You didn’t listen to what she said.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s right. That’s your role. You guys gang up and kill me.’”
