Ellie Kemper 'Feels Very Sad' That 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Is Ending

Ellie Kemper made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday (January 24) and talked about her bittersweet feelings about the end of her hit Netflix series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

“I feel very sad, I have now been a cast member of two shows that have ended,” the 38-year-old actress told Seth. “I was on The Office and I felt very sad when The Office ended even though I entered like end of the fifth season.”

“The final month of shooting I was like sobbing and everyone was like, ‘you’re new, why are you crying?’ – but this feels different because I was there from the beginning,” Ellie continued. “We had four seasons and it was awesome, but of course it’s bittersweet. It’s the end of an era.”

The final episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be available streaming starting tomorrow on Friday, January 25 on Netflix. Watch the trailer here!
