Katharine McPhee Has Best Response to Ryan Seacrest's Tweet About Current 'Idol' Season

Katharine McPhee had the best response when American Idol host Ryan Seacrest tweeted that the group of contestants in the current season is more talented than any other season in the past.

The 34-year-old entertainer was the runner-up on season five back in 2006. The show is currently in its 17th season, though only the second on ABC.

“This really is the most talented group we’ve ever had! #AmericanIdol,” Ryan tweeted during the season’s first live episode featuring the Top 20.

Katharine replied to the tweet by saying, “?? since season 5** 😘.”

The contestants on season five also included winner Taylor Hicks, as well as Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler, Elliott Yamin, and Grammy winner Mandisa.
