Jussie Smollett Is Returning to 'Empire,' Taraji P. Henson Says

Taraji P. Henson is opening up about Jussie Smollett‘s case and his return to their series Empire.

The Oscar-nominated actress spoke out while promoting her new movie The Best of Enemies during an interview on The View.

“I talk to Jussie all the time, and he’s doing well. We’re all doing well,” Taraji said. “The show is doing well. We’re on hiatus right now. The writers are trying to figure out what the next season is going to look like, what our storyline is going to be. They’re trying to drum up some really good juicy stuff for you guys.”

When asked if Jussie will be back for season six, assuming the show gets renewed, she said, Yes, I haven’t heard anything else.”
