'Grease' Prequel in the Works!

There’s a Grease prequel in the works!

The film is currently titled Summer Loving and has tapped veteran screenwriter John August to tackle the script, THR reports.

The 1978 film became an instant classic and starred John Travolta as Danny Zuko and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson.

The prequel’s plot is set to center around Danny and Sandy’s first meeting, which is detailed in the Grease song “Summer Nights.” No further details have been released at this time.
