In Memoriam: 9 'Harry Potter' Actors Who Have Sadly Passed Away Since Filming
Richard Harris (Professor Albus Dumbledore)
The beloved Richard Harris took on the role of Dumbledore in Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets before his passing in 2002 at the age of 72.
He was unfortunately hospitalized with pneumonia and diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Michael Gambon took over the role until the final film.
