Nxivm Founder Keith Raniere Found Guilty in Sex Trafficking Case Involving Allison Mack

Nxivm founder Keith Raniere has been found guilty of federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges on Wednesday (June 19), according to John Marzulli – spokesman for the prosecutor’s office.

Keith had pleaded not guilty on all seven charges he faced, including racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, forced labor conspiracy, sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and attempted sex trafficking.

His conviction comes after his top liutenant of his sex cult Smallville actress Allison Mack pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and racketeering charges. She will be sentenced in September.

Allison
was accused of recruiting women into NXIVM where Keith reportedly blackmailed women into becoming sex slaves and branded his initials into them.

CNN reports that US attorney Richard Donoghue said that “Raniere, who portrayed himself as a savant and a genius, was in fact a massive manipulator, a con man, and the crime boss of a cult-like organization involved in sex trafficking, child pornography, extortion, compelled abortions, branding, degradation and humiliation.”

Keith is due to be sentenced on September 25 where he could face life in prison.
