Emmy Awards 2019 Won't Have a Celebrity Host

The 2019 Emmy Awards are following in the 2019 Oscars‘ footsteps by going host-less this year.

Fox just confirmed that they have not hired a celebrity host to emcee the annual event, which is only about a month-and-a-half away.

The Oscars also went host-less earlier this year, and instead, saw various celebs presenting the awards to keep the show going.

The Emmys have gone host-less before, back in 2003 when the show was also on Fox.

Last year, the Emmys were hosted by SNL‘s Michael Che and Colin Jost.
