Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa Seeks 'Life Partner' for SpaceX Trip to the Moon
Yusaku Maezawa is looking for a “single woman” to fly to the moon with him.
The 44-year-old Japanese billionaire, entrepreneur, and art collector wants a “life partner” to join him on a SpaceX rocket for the company’s first tourist moon voyage in 2023.
“I have lived exactly as I’ve wanted to up until now,” Yusaka wrote via a website he tweeted out on Sunday (January 12).
He added, “I’m 44 now. As feelings of loneliness and emptiness slowly begin to surge upon me, there’s one thing that I think about: Continuing to love one woman. … I want to find a ‘life partner’. With that future partner of mine, I want to shout our love and world peace from outer space. I look forward to meeting someone amazing.”
The application requirements are as follows: “Single women aged 20 or over; Bright personality and always positive; Interested in going into space and able to participate in the preparation for it; Want to enjoy life to the fullest; Be someone who wishes for world peace.”
The application deadline is January 17, and Yusaku Maezawa will make his final decision at the end of March.
