Ja'Net DuBois Dead - 'Good Times' Actress Dies at 74

Ja’Net DuBois has sadly passed away at the age of 74.

The actress – known for her role on the 1970s series Good Times – was found dead on Tuesday (February 18) at her home in Glendale, Calif., TMZ reports.

Her family told the outlet that she died unexpectedly in her sleep. She reportedly had not complained of any specific health issues and appeared to be in good health.

Her other appearances include I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, Tropic Thunder, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. She also performed on Broadway and won two Emmy awards for her work on The PJs.

Ja’net also composed and sang the Jeffersons theme song “Movin’ On Up.”

Ja’net is survived by her three children. Our thoughts are with Ja’Net DuBois‘ loved ones during this difficult time.
