Dakota Johnson Shares Tips For Dealing With Anxiety & Depression in Quarantine

Dakota Johnson is opening up about how she’s dealing with depression during quarantine, and sharing some tips for fans who are going through the same thing.

While speaking with Extra about her new movie, High Note, the 30-year-old actress addressed how anxiety and depression could take over your life while staying at home.

“You are at home, you’re not with your friends, you’re not with your family, you are not able to do the things that make you feel worthwhile…You’re kind of in this costume of depression…,” she says.

Dakota adds, “Right now, there’s also immense pain and sadness ricocheting around the world constantly so it’s hard to feel totally positive all day every day when the world is sad, it’s dangerous and it’s scary and it’s lonely.”

Some of the things that Dakota herself has practiced to fight off her struggles are “meditation or going for a walk, being kind to your body…Those little things make a difference ultimately.”

If you didn’t read, Dakota also opened up about her personal struggles with Marie Claire magazine, revealing she’s been in an out of depression since she was just 14.
