Glee's Samantha Ware Says Lea Michele Made Her 'First Television Gig a Living Hell'

Samantha Ware is speaking out about her experience on the set of Glee and how Lea Michele made her time on the show “a living hell.”

Last week, Lea wrote a tweet to support the Black Lives Matter movement and she said, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end.”

Samantha just replied to that tweet and wrote in all caps, “LMAO remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I’ll never forget. I believe you told everyone if [you] had the opportunity you would ‘shit in my wig!’ Amongst other traumatic microagressions that made me question a career in Hollywood…”

In case you don’t remember, Samantha played one of the new students in the sixth and final season of Glee. She appeared in 11 out of the 13 episodes as Jane Hayward, who tried to join the Warblers, but then decides to join the New Directions under the leadership of Rachel Berry.

Alex Newell, who also appeared on Glee, is certainly interested in this interaction as he replied to the tweet with a GIF of RuPaul looking into opera glasses.

Most Glee fans know that Lea had a much buzzed-about feud with another cast member of the show.

In the time since appearing on Glee, Samantha has starred in the Netflix series What/If and in the movie Barry.
