Meghan McCain Claims Her Neighborhood Is 'Eviscerated' Amid Protests, Neighbor Calls Her Out: 'It's Fine'

Meghan McCain said her neighborhood in Manhattan has been destroyed, but her neighbor Kristen Bartlett is fact-checking.

The 35-year-old The View co-host spoke out on social media on Tuesday (June 2) amid protests throughout the nation against systemic racism and police brutality following the death of George Floyd.

“My neighborhood in Manhattan is eviscerated and looks like a war zone. DeBlasio and Cuomo are an utter disgrace. This is not America. Our leaders have abandoned us and continue to let great American cities burn to the ground and be destroyed. I never could have fathomed this,” Meghan wrote.

Kristen, the co-head writer on Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, wrote back with her own assessment.

“Meghan, we live in the same building, and I just walked outside. It’s fine,” she said.
