Sofia Vergara Raves About Golden Buzzer Pick Roberta Battaglia's Performance of 'Shallow' on 'America's Got Talent'

A 10-year-old girl from Toronto just wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent!

Roberta Battaglia took to the stage during the second week of auditions on Tuesday night (June 2).

For her audition, Roberta performed a cover of Lady Gaga‘s Oscar-winning song “Shallow.”

Because she was so blown away by the performance, new judge Sofia Vergara hit the Golden Buzzer for Roberta!

“She was amazing,” Sofia shared with People. “I thought she was amazing. I thought she was unique.”

During the auditions round, each judge is allowed one Golden Buzzer use to send an act automatically into the live shows.

New episodes of America’s Got Talent air on Tuesday nights at 8pm ET on NBC.
