Naya Rivera's Loved Ones Are in 'Disbelief' After She Goes Missing: 'Nobody Has Heard Anything'

Naya Rivera is tragically presumed dead after she went missing while boating with her son Josey, 4, at Lake Piru in California.

Josey told authorities that his mom did not return after she went swimming, and a search is now underway with a lot of help from diving teams, helicopter search parties, and more.

“Nobody has heard anything,” a source told People. “Everybody is in a wait-and-see pattern and trying to figure out exactly what happened.”

“Everybody is in disbelief,” the source added.

Just a few weeks ago, this source added they talked to Naya, saying, “She seemed happy, busy … just kind of living life.”

“Back in the day, her life was all about her career. It was all about acting, singing, using her platform for equal rights, empowerment, anti-bullying – I think her priorities have shifted,” the source continued. “Her working less isn’t because she doesn’t want to work, but she’s a mom. Her son comes first. That’s apparent in everything she’s posted and done. Everything is about her son.”

Josey‘s dad is Naya‘s ex Ryan Dorsey. The pair finalized their divorce just over one year ago. They split in December of 2017.
